Henceforth, applicants seeking Professional Certification into Senior Membership, Full Membership, Associate Membership and Graduate Membership MUST sit for and pass Examination on the TEN MODULES contained in the Institute’s Complete Study Pack as follows:

MODULE 5: ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND BUSINESS ETIQUETTE
MODULE 6: FUNDAMENTALS OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND INTERNATIONAL FINANCE
MODULE 7: BASICS OF ECONOMICS AND INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS
MODULE 8: ESSENTIALS OF FINANCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT AND INSURANCE
MODULE 9: INTRODUCTION TO TAXATION AND INTERNATIONAL TAXATION
MODULE 10: BASICS OF BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE
NOTE: IBDFM Fellowship i.e. Fellow (FBDFM) grade which is the highest honour of the Institute is bestowed on exceptional individuals who have distinguished themselves as professionals in their chosen fields particularly in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Banking, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Medicine, Surveying, Architecture, Pharmacy, etc. IBDFM Fellowship is awarded by our Fellowship Nominations and Screening Committee (FNSC) and unlike other Membership grades does not require sitting for and passing the professional examination. However, an approved Fellow MUST obtain the Institute’s Complete Study Pack.
The Fellowship Nominations and Screening Committee (FNSC) in electing a FELLOW, ensures that the Candidate MUST satisfy the Council that he/she:
i. Has been a Senior Member of the Institute for at least five years continuously prior to nomination, and
ii. Has, in the opinion of the Council, made significant contribution to the advancement of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management profession, or the objectives of the Institute, and
iii. Has held a position or positions of superior professional responsibility for an aggregate of at least three years.
Our Fellows hold invaluable experience of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management, and are able to provide a unique insight into the profession and help the Institute develop best practice standards and policies, sharing their experience and knowledge by contributing to the Institute's working groups, panels and consultations.
